Greetings all!

It's been awhile, ne? So I thought we could wake the community up a bit with a new podfic challenge! This one is, as the title implies, quite simple:

Just Record Something
Any JE group, any length, any theme. Canon, AU, dramaverse, whatever you feeling like reading. There are no limitations whatsoever on this challenge - whether you're using a cheap headset mic or a recording studio in your basement, it doesn't matter. Just record something.

This is not a blind challenge, so feel free to talk about your projects all over the blogosphere if you wish ;D. The only rule is that you need permission from the author if you want to record a fic that is not your own.

• Sign-ups close:  They don't. If you're hit with a sudden urge to record something the night before files are due, that's fine with me!
  
• Podfics due:  Sunday, July 1st
  
• Posting begins:  Wednesday, July 4th

Thank you so much to everyone who got their podfics in! You guys recorded a sum total of 18 hours, 52 minutes and 50 seconds worth of podfic - more than enough to last me on the flight back to Japan, certainly ^_~. You lot are amazing!

A super huge thank-you to our artists as well! It was hard to sit on all the fantastic pieces that appeared in my inbox and not squee over them to the internet at large ^_~. I must give a special modly thank-you to natsukashi_yume, who put up her hand at the very last minute and put together two gorgeous covers for us, both done in a space of hours. You're a goddess!

As your intrepid mod is not only leaving the country in 2 days, but has also managed to catch a particularly virulent strain of winter plague, the posting for JE Podfic BB will now begin on December 27th.

This should also give those on extension enough time to finish off their podfics.
